IF Imaginary Friends (2024)

The Story

Bea moves to her grandmother’s house in Brooklyn while her father is in the hospital for a heart procedure. On her first night in Brooklyn, she spots a strange tiny cartoonish lady wearing a tutu and ballet shoes. Bea follows the little lady, Blossom, and the man she’s with, Cal, and from her hiding spot, she sees them go into a townhouse across the street to bring a giant purple happy monster back home. It’s all shocking to Bea, but now she wants to know more! Bea finds where they live and starts spending more of her free time with Cal, and learns more about what happens when kids grow up and leave their imaginary friends behind. Bea teams up with Cal to help reunite these forgotten IFs with children who need them, embarking on a magical adventure that celebrates imagination and the power of believing. It’s a tear jerker — bring a whole box of tissues.
