The Story

Lee Miller, American photographer most known for her images of World War 2, was a celebrated model and Picasso’s muse before she found her true calling as a photographer. During the war, she found her way to the frontline and photographed that battlefields and their wounded in England, France and Germany for Vogue magazine. Her hauntingly beautiful images shaped our perception of the Nazi era and World War 2 in Europe.
