ON LOCATION: Zurich Film Festival 2024
From October 3 to 13, For Film’s Sake will be on location at the Zurich Film Festival. We’re scheduled to see 30 movies over 10 days — it’s going to be a crazy whirlwind! Check back often for updates on info and happenings here at the festival.
The Zurich Film Festival is an annual festival that takes place in Zurich, Switzerland, each year in October. Filmmakers compete in three categories: International Feature Film, International Documentary Film, and ‘Focus: Switzerland, Germany, and Austria.’ The festival aims to support early-career filmmakers in its competition categories, as only first, second, or third directorial works are allowed entry.
The 2024 event marks the 20th year of the Zurich Film Festival. Every year features a “hashtag” category, and for 2024, the event uses #BigCityLife. Pamela Anderson has been presented with this year’s Golden Eye Award.
