The Story
The film follows Ruby Gillman, a shy and awkward 16-year-old high school student who discovers that she is descended from a line of warrior kraken queens. The kraken are a race of sea creatures who are sworn to protect the oceans from the vain and power-hungry mermaids.
Destined to inherit the throne from her commanding grandmother, Ruby must use her newfound powers to protect those she loves most.
