The Story
The Blackening is a horror comedy film that follows seven friends who reunite for a Juneteenth weekend getaway. They rent a cabin in the woods and plan to spend the weekend drinking, playing games, and catching up. However, their plans are quickly derailed when they discover a mysterious board game called “The Blackening” in a room marked “Game Room”.
The friends decide to play the game, but they soon realize that it is not a game at all. The friends must work together to survive the game and escape the cabin, but they soon realize that the killer is always one step ahead of them.
The Blackening is a dark and twisted horror comedy that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
