Regal and other theaters will be showing the annual Drum Corps International World Championship performance this year on August 10. Summer is the season for DCI competition, when young talented marching musicians join touring corps and perform some of the toughest, most physically challenging arrangements for audiences in the sweltering heat. DCI is for the marching band fans, who go to football games for the halftime performance more than the football. From the big screen, audiences will be able to immerse themselves in marching music’s major leagues. 

Only the top 15 semifinalist corps will appear in event, which will most likely include perennial favorites Blue Stars, Colts, Phantom Regiment, Troopers and The Cavaliers.

The 18th-annual live cinema event takes place from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Coverage, which will span more than five hours, will kick off at 6:30 p.m. ET on August 10.
