The Story
Sound of Freedom is a 2023 American action drama film written and directed by Alejandro Monteverde, and starring Jim Caviezel, Mira Sorvino, and Bill Camp. Caviezel plays Tim Ballard, a former government agent turned vigilante who embarks on a dangerous mission to rescue children from sex traffickers in Colombia.
The film is based on the true story of Tim Ballard, who founded Operation Underground Railroad (OUR), a non-profit organization that works to rescue children from sex trafficking. In the film, Ballard is a former Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agent who quits his job after he learns that his own daughter has been trafficked. He then sets out to rescue other children who are being held captive by sex traffickers.
Sound of Freedom is a powerful and emotional film that tells the story of one man’s fight to save children from a horrific fate. The film is sure to leave a lasting impression on viewers.
