They Will Be Dust (2024)

Vibrant 70-year-old Claire suffers from the symptoms of a tumor and decides to end. Even though her home country Spain has laws in place to help her, she will go to a clinic in Switzerland so her husband Flavio, her partner of 40 years, can end his life as well. He is not sick, but he cannot imagine a life without Claire. Their youngest daughter along with their two other children must process their own feelings about their aging parents’ decision. The film grapples with what it means to take your own life, and what happens to the living afterwards.
